МЕХАНИЗМЫ ПОВЫШЕНИЯ СОЛЕУСТОЙЧИВОСТИ РАСТЕНИЙ ПОД ДЕЙСТВИЕМ РИЗОСФЕРНЫХ МИКРООРГАНИЗМОВ

Засоление почв является одним из ключевых факторов, ограничивающих продуктивность сельскохозяйственных культур и устойчивость агроэкосистем. В последние годы особое внимание уделяется роли ризосферных микроорганизмов в повышении солеустойчивости растений. В данной работе рассматриваются основные механизмы взаимодействия растений и микроорганизмов ризосферы в условиях солевого стресса. Показано, что ассоциированные микроорганизмы способны повышать адаптационный потенциал растений за счёт синтеза фитогормонов, улучшения минерального питания, регулирования осмотического баланса и снижения токсического воздействия ионов натрия. Особое значение имеют процессы стимуляции антиоксидантной системы растений и индукции системной устойчивости. Сделан вывод о том, что использование ризосферных микроорганизмов является перспективным направлением в повышении устойчивости растений к засолению и развитии устойчивого сельского хозяйства.

A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CULTURAL AND STYLISTIC PRESERVATION IN THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF GAFUR GULOM’S “SHUM BOLA”

This article explores the linguistic and cultural complexities involved in translating Gafur Gulom’s seminal picaresque novella, Shum Bola, from Uzbek into English. As a masterpiece defined by its rich use of the Tashkent dialect, traditional askiya (wit), and pastoral metaphors, the work presents a significant “linguistic wall” for translators. Using a qualitative comparative method, this study analyzes specific instances of translation loss, focusing on culture-specific items, idiomatic expressions, and stylistic registers. The findings reveal a persistent trend of semantic flattening and over-domestication, where vivid animal-based similes and nomadic architectural terms are replaced by generic English equivalents. Furthermore, the analysis highlights how the neutralization of the protagonist’s “street” register diminishes the irrepressible “Shum” spirit intended by the author. The study analyzes by suggesting that a move toward stylistic loyalty and dynamic equivalence is essential for preserving the ethnolinguistic identity of Uzbek literature in the global literary market. Rather than prioritizing simple readability, future translations should aim to preserve the rhythmic energy and metaphorical grit that define Gulom’s unique narrative voice.

USING POLITE AND PERSUASIVE LANGUAGE IN DISCUSSION AND NEGOTIATION

Abstract. This article examines the importance of using polite and persuasive language in discussion and negotiation within the framework of communicative language teaching and modern linguadidactics. The study argues that politeness strategies and persuasive expressions play a crucial role in developing communicative competence, intercultural awareness, and conflict-resolution skills among English language learners. Drawing on pragmatic theory, discourse analysis, and classroom-based observations, the research demonstrates that teaching learners how to negotiate meaning politely enhances their linguistic flexibility, emotional intelligence, and professional communication abilities. The findings reveal that integrating polite and persuasive language into interactive speaking tasks significantly improves learners’ confidence, sociolinguistic sensitivity, and ability to maintain constructive communication in academic and workplace settings.

OBSERVED TRANSFORMATIONS OF NATIONAL-CULTURAL COMPONENTS IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED TRANSLATIONS OF SHUKUR KHOLMIRZAYEV’S SHORT STORY “THE CHARACTER OF THE UZBEKS”

This article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the changes and specific features observed in national and cultural components during the translation of Shukur Kholmirzaev’s short story “The Character of the Uzbeks” into English by artificial intelligence. The study examines which translation methods and strategies are used by AI tools when translating literary texts from Uzbek into English, as well as what kinds of changes occur in meaning and sentence structure during the translation process. In addition, the article presents alternative translation methods and examples aimed at reducing shifts in national-cultural elements and preserving the original meaning while making the text clear for the reader. As a source material, the English translation of the short story produced by Shukhrat Sattorov was selected.
