PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATION OF REALIA IN THE STORY “A NAUGHTY BOY” BY GAFUR GULOM

Abstract

The translation of a literary work still faces problems in perfectly
conveying the author’s thoughts and feelings in the translated language. The
problems of translation of realities, which represent the most important aspect of
translation, are of particular importance. This article shows the existing problems in
the translation of national words in the Uzbek language into English on the example
of Gafur Gulam’s short story “A naughty boy”.
