Abstract
This article explores the integral role of probability theory in risk
management. It discusses the fundamental principles of probability theory and their
application in identifying, measuring, and mitigating risks across various domains
such as finance, operations, and insurance. By examining case studies and current
practices, the article highlights the advantages and limitations of probabilistic
models and suggests future directions for research and development in this field.
