Abstract
This article explores the challenges and peculiarities encountered in translating phraseological units from English into Uzbek in literary works. Phraseological units are crucial elements that reflect the richness of a language, its national characteristics, and its cultural connotations. The translation process, however, faces numerous challenges, including cultural specificities, semantic shifts, and stylistic differences. This article analyzes the problems encountered in the translation process of phraseological units through examples taken from literary works and proposes solutions to overcome these challenges.
