Abstract
This article highlights the introduction of distance technologies in the field of education and the important advantages of distance learning technologies. The scientific-theoretical basis of the use of mass education technologies in the process of professional development of teachers is given. Today, distance education, which is considered as a solution to the problem of improving the qualifications of pedagogues through new alternative forms of education, provides solutions to a number of additional pedagogical education problems. Among the principles of successful implementation of distance education programs, important aspects are highlighted.
