Abstract
This article analyzes the significance, characteristics, and developmental
stages of the genre of manzuma in Uzbek literature. It provides detailed information
on the composition of manzuma in the form of masnavi, its thematic diversity, and
its didactic purposes. The article also highlights the evolution of the genre in the
19th century and the contributions of poets like Ubaydi and Abdulhamid Parda. It
serves as an important theoretical basis for studying and exploring the role of
manzuma in the history of Uzbek literature.
