Improvement of Privatization Processes in Uzbekistan

Abstract

One of the key directions of economic reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan
is the privatization process. Privatization involves transferring state assets to the
private sector, contributing to the development of the market economy and the
establishment of new production and services. Thus, the privatization process should
lead to economic growth, the formation of a competitive environment, and increased
revenue for the state budget. However, there are several problems and shortcomings
in this process. Therefore, it is crucial to improve the privatization mechanisms.
