Abstract
Maxillofacial infections, which affect the soft tissues, bones, and structures of
the face and jaw, present significant challenges in clinical management. These
infections often arise due to dental procedures, trauma, or systemic conditions such
as sinusitis, and they may involve complex interactions between various microbial
agents. The treatment of maxillofacial infections requires a targeted approach that
accounts for the specific pathogens, the patient’s medical history, and the potential
for systemic spread.
