ОСОБЕННОСТИ ПЕРЕДАЧИ ГЕНДЕРНО-НЕЙТРАЛЬНЫХ ЕДИНИЦ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА НА РУССКИЙ ПРИ ПЕРЕВОДЕ

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются особенности русской
интерпретации английских гендерно-нейтральных лексических единиц.
Трудности перевода возникают из-за различий в категории рода в обоих
языках и в социальном отношении к понятию гендер. Рассмотренный
материал показывает, какие лексические и грамматические приемы
использует переводчик. The article dwells upon the Russian interpretation of
gender-neutral units. The translation difficulties arise due to differences in the
category of gender in the both languages and in the social attitude to the term of
gender. The investigated material shows which lexical and grammatical techniques
an interpreter uses.
