Abstract
In the context of global environmental challenges and the increasing
importance of sustainable development, small businesses play a crucial role in
fostering green economic practices. This paper explores the economic foundations
and implications of implementing environmental innovations in small enterprises.
It examines how such innovations contribute to cost savings, increased
competitiveness, and long-term economic stability. Drawing on real-world
examples and statistical data, the article highlights both the opportunities and
challenges small businesses face in transitioning to environmentally sustainable
operations.
