Abstract
Global software development (GSD) involves collaboration among
distributed teams across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. While
offering opportunities for innovation and market expansion, GSD also presents
significant challenges in communication, coordination, and cultural understanding.
This paper examines the impact of linguistic diversity and cultural differences on
the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding,
testing, and project management.
