Abstract

It is well known that the stability of each newly developed variety depends
on the valuable agronomic traits of every single plant, namely the productivity of
an individual plant. Today, in many parts of the world, hybrid and cotton varieties
with high values of economically significant traits are being created within a short
period through various breeding methods. Among the most urgent issues in cotton
production is increasing fiber yield and improving fiber productivity from the
harvested cotton.
