Abstract
Abstract: Color is one of the most beautiful phenomena in nature, which has inspired scientists, artists, and creators since ancient times in both scientific inquiry and artistic expression. This article analyzes the perception of colors in fine arts, their aesthetic essence, and qualitative characteristics. The three fundamental properties of color — hue, lightness (value), and saturation — are examined through practical exercises and artistic observations. Furthermore, the application of chromatic and achromatic colors, their harmony within composition, and their psychological impact on human perception are explored. The findings show that accurate perception of color enhances the authenticity of an artist’s work, while the harmonious use of colors elevates the artistic and emotional value of the artwork.
