Abstract
This paper examines the use of horse chestnut extract in cosmetics.
Particular attention is paid to its active components-escin and esculin-which have
pronounced venotonic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. The use of
horse chestnut-based cosmetics helps strengthen blood vessel walls, improve
microcirculation, and reduce swelling and redness. These products are effective in
treating skin with signs of rosacea, fatigue, and loss of tone. The abstract
emphasizes the importance of natural ingredients in modern cosmetology and the
potential of using horse chestnut in the production of natural cosmetics
