Abstract
This paper explores the evolution and implementation of modern approaches
to foreign language teaching (FLT) across diverse international contexts. Driven by
globalization, technological advancements, and a deeper understanding of second
language acquisition, contemporary FLT methodologies have shifted significantly
from traditional grammar-translation and audiolingual methods towards more
learner-centered, communicative, and task-based paradigms.
