Abstract
This article examines the pedagogical relevance of teaching foreign
languages to students majoring in economics and management in higher education
institutions. In the context of globalization and international professional
communication, foreign language competence is considered an essential
component of professional training. Special attention is paid to professionallyoriented
foreign language teaching, which integrates language learning with
students’ future professional activities. The use of modern pedagogical
technologies, interactive methods, and authentic materials contributes to the
development of professional communicative competence and increases students’
motivation for learning foreign languages.
