PREVENTION OF METABOLIC SYNDROME AFTER MEDICAL ABORTION

Abstract

A prospective study of 300 women, divided into high- and low-risk groups, identified the development of metabolic syndrome after an abortion. The study assessed the menstrual cycle, state and personality anxiety, and biochemical parameters characterizing carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and serum oxidative activity. An analysis of the effectiveness of magnetic laser therapy in correcting metabolic disorders is presented. A management algorithm for women undergoing abortion is proposed.
