Abstract

The rapid growth of mobile technologies has significantly increased the amount of personal and corporate data stored on smartphones and tablets. As mobile devices become essential tools for communication, business operations, education, and financial transactions, ensuring the security and availability of data has become a critical concern. Cloud computing offers scalable and cost-effective solutions for data storage and backup. However, the transmission and storage of sensitive information in cloud environments introduce various security challenges, including unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyberattacks. This article examines secure cloud-based backup methods for mobile device data protection. It discusses encryption techniques, authentication mechanisms, backup architectures, and modern security frameworks designed to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mobile data. The study highlights the importance of integrating advanced security technologies into cloud backup systems to protect users from data loss and cyber threats
