Abstract

The adoption of robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery has transformed the management of gynecologic malignancies by improving surgical precision and reducing patient morbidity. Compared with conventional open procedures, robotic systems provide enhanced visualization, greater instrument dexterity, and improved ergonomics for surgeons performing complex oncologic operations. This article reviews the advantages, limitations, and clinical significance of roboticassisted surgery in gynecologic oncology, with a focus on patient recovery, perioperative outcomes, and future perspectives. Current evidence suggests that robotic techniques can shorten hospital stays, reduce blood loss, and accelerate postoperative recovery while maintaining acceptable oncologic safety in selected patients.
