Abstract
This article provides information on the effect of sowing dates on spike
length, number of grains per spike, and weight of 1000 grains of durum wheat varieties.
According to it, the length of the longest spike in the first sowing period was 8.98 cm in the
"Arakena" variety, and the number of grains in one spike was 38. The average weight of 1000
grains of durum wheat was 33.5-36.0 grams.
