Abstract

Today, bariatric surgery is developing day by day due to an increase in the number of obese
patients. Currently, there are more than 1.9 billion people in the world and 400,000 patients
undergo laparoscopic gastric resection every year. It should be added that simultaneous
laparoscopic gastric drainage resection with cholecystectomy is performed in patients with
symptomatic and asymptomatic gallstone disease due to obesity (in 47-56% of patients with
morbid obesity). At the same time, after laparoscopic gastric resection, if the patient is not under
medical supervision, preventive measures are not carried out, bariatric interventions can cause
complications, one of which is cholelithiasis
