IoT TRAFIGINING ON/OFF MODELI

Abstract

In the ON/OFF traffic model, sensor nodes transmit packets when the object
(event) is in the monitoring zone (ON state) and stop transmitting packets when the
object (event) leaves the scanned area (OFF state). This traffic pattern can be seen as
a sequence of ON and OFF cycles.
