Costs recovery is very germane in arbitration and serves as centre point to financial success in dispute resolution. This article reveals that the arbitral tribunal fixes costs but the general practice and principle in arbitration is that costs follow the event meaning the unsuccessful party shall pay the successful party the arbitration and legal costs.
