SPELLS AS ONE OF THE INDEPENDENT GENRES OF FOLKLORE

Abstract

"Afsun" is an Arabic word that means magic. In folklore, this term is also
used for prayers. Spells have been an integral part of people's life since ancient times.
In ancient times, people widely used spells to protect themselves from various losses,
calamities, diseases and disasters, the influence of unbelievers and unbelievers, and
the attacks of wild creatures. Worshiping the word and its magical power, looking at
it with the eyes of salvation led to the creation of various spells.
