IMAGE OF "KHIZR" IN THE MAGICAL TALES OF THE UZBEK PEOPLE

Abstract

The artistic functions of the image of Khizr, who participates as an epic
patron in Uzbek folk epics and tales, are different. In epics and fairy tales, an old
man with a white beard, an enlightened old man, who meets the hero and helps him
as a patron, makes his problem easier, gives him a gift of magic or teaches how to
get such a strange object, determines the fate of the hero in advance
