Abstract
The essence of the phenomenon of social identification is that it provides
individuals with a sense of belonging to a certain social group. Social identity
manifests itself in the activity of an individual and performs the function of a
connecting element between a person and a subject. It is the mechanism of social
identity that allows you to determine the social meaning of your "I" (selfidentification of a person) and other figures (external identification).
