The essence of the physical effect of increasing the permeability of sandyclay rocks when exposed to an alternating electric field is the separation of bound
water, which leads to an increase in the efficiency of rock porosity. The considered
effect is somewhat different from the well-known electroosmosis, in which bound
water is transported by a direct electric current
