Abstract

Cotton is cultivated on the territory of 89 countries, on an area of more than
30 million hectares. To date, there are problems in the production of a high and
high-quality cotton fiber crop. The accelerated breeding and introduction into
production of genetically new cotton varieties capable of forming an early, highquality and high-quality harvest of raw cotton and fiber and at the same time
